The lovely, quaint and wholesome community of La Grange, Texas is home of many festivals, including three in October: Oktoberfest on the Square, Heritage Festival and Muziky and lastly, Trick or Treat on the Square — when all the ghosts and goblins come out for one of the most joyous Halloween festivals in Texas. We hope you’ll have an opportunity to visit all three of our October festivals and stay at our fantastic RV Park, located just a few minutes out of downtown La Grange on FM 2145.
In fact, bring your travel trailer or RV and the whole family to enjoy the festivals of La Grange, Texas and stay at S & H RV Park. Kids will love our beautiful setting, a small RV Park surrounded by 31 acres of Texas countryside beauty. We have a stocked fishing pond with bass and catfish waiting for you and your family members. Picnic under our 100-year old Live Oaks, walk around the park or up and down our long entrance road off of FM 2145. Our location is quite, serene and just waiting for you and your spouse or entire family to get away from the rat race of the big city and simply chill out and have fun.
La Grange has one of the most charming town squares in Texas. Our beautiful courthouse was built in 1891, designed by noted Texas courthouse architect James Reily Gordon and built in the Richardsonian Romanesque style of architecture that Gordon became known for by architects around the U.S. The courthouse exterior contains four different types of native Texas stone. It serves as the epicenter of Trick or Treat on the Square.
Trick or Treat on the Square gives children a safe place to go door to door for candy and to show off their costumes. All participating merchants will display a sign in their window or on their door to identify them as a Trick or Treat participant.
